Take A Walk Into Lisa Perry's Beach Home

Fashion designer Lisa Perry shows you how her prominent mod signature style is also demonstrated through her vibrant beach home, located in North Haven, New York.
What I really like about her home is the fact that it is a minimalist kind, and its pretty evident that Perry, working with designers Tony Ingaro and Alexia Kondylis, were able to perfectly convey that with the kind of furniture they had picked and placed in certain areas of the space. Check it out!

Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre

"The Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre marks Oman's serious entry into the world of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions (MICE). The Centre will act as a gateway to Muscat and will be an Architectural Landmark. Its design will draw on Oman's strong cultural heritage and architectural traditions taking full advantage of the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The state of the art buildings and unique location will allow Oman to compete internationally to host high profile events and to showcase the best of Omani hospitality in a modern setting.

The key components include an auditorium with a seating capacity of 3,000 people, exhibition halls with 25,000sqm exhibition phase in the first phase and with ability to seat 10,000 people. The development will also have banquet halls, meeting space, 85,000sqm of office space in a grade A business park and four hotels with a total of 1,000 rooms.

Celebrity Homes: Jennifer Lopez

Jennifer Lopez's California home was recently featured in Veranda magazine titled 'Serene Glamour'. I have to admit that when I was going through the pictures I was rather astonished to find that the gorgeous, lively and worldly American artist lives in a home filled with warmth and tranquility.
The creative interior designer Michelle Workman renovated the entire house in the year 2010, conveying that the star is what her home represents.
"It's sort of Jennifer in a nutshell—she has a romantic streak."
What makes this home even more appealing is the touch of Art Deco that seems to be a recurring theme in almost every room, preserving that certain flow throughout the house.

Can you tell the time?

Young Irish Designer James Tobin has created an innovative clock influenced by the people of the city who are endlessly on the go.

"The Mhin clock documents time with ambiguity to help relax you and keep you from constant worry about the time. Mhin displays time in a linear fashion with silence instead of the constant ticking reminder of time going by."

Although I really like the concept behind this design, I think I might prefer to know the exact time. However when you don't need the time, this piece of work could be portrayed as conceptual art.

Green Couch

I just came across the website Green Couch, an interior design company based in San Francisco, California, consisting of gifted characters working with one another to form "interiors that are sophisticated, relaxing and inspiring."
While looking through their portfolio I was stunned at how well the designers managed to convey such a chic look with a touch of spirit. I was mainly attracted to their choice of colours within those houses; simply neutral and serene that emit comfort and class.

Love.
