Bokja Design

At the present time I am preoccupied with Arabic culture through design and I recently stumbled upon Bokja Design, a token of "respect and love for an age-old culture and aesthetic with human approach". The concept was developed by two Lebanese women Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri who are both passionate about antique furniture and textiles.  The idea in some of those sole pieces is the use of old cultural materials with the current style, where East meets West, illustrating sustainability and craftsmanship. Check out my favorite pieces.
